The Boosh and Prejudice story continues and I couldn't help myself. I had to put a link to what might just be my favourite chapter so far. There are several chapters in the running and I tend to think that the chapter I've just written is my favourite, but I really like this one.
It contains Howard Moon poetry, grumpy/adorable/in love Vince and a swollen ankle.

You must think I'm awful for not commenting further on this - it's been SO hectic here these past couple of weeks. I'm just catching up on my friends list now. Can't speak for anyone else but I'm still enjoying it; got my cup of tea and am ready to devour everything in between chapters 46 and 62 :D

Not at all, thanks for still reading. I'm a little lost now that it's over. Waiting for inspiration to strike so I can write something else. Hope you like the end. It was fun to write but made me a little sad.

I know that feeling. I'm in the middle of one myself, but with everything that's going on, I'm sort of uninspired. It's like sitting in the middle of a totally still ocean, wondering if a wave's ever going to push you somewhere.

And of course I fell asleep in the middle of a chapter, I was so tired. Hope I can finish it tonight, I still love the two of them as Georgian gentlemen so very much.

Glad you're still liking them. I wish I could visit them again. This fix lured my younger sister into reading the proper Pride and Prejudice, which was nice, and she reckons I should do a Dracula Boosh next but I think it might have already been done.

Mine's a Time Traveler's Wife/Doctor Who type one (though it's Noel and Ju rather than Vince and Howard). I've not seen a Dracula one that I recall, but that could be interesting! I think if I were going to adapt a classic, I'd do something ridiculous like Gone with the Wind and genderbend it so that Scarlett was Vince's drag persona or something. :P Howard would make such an excellent snarky Rhett Butler too.

Ooh, that does sound good. I will have to give ideas more attention once the rush of Christmas is all done. Howard as Rhett... now that has made me giggle.
