Good evening, Dirty Jazzers!

I hope this post finds you well, perhaps looking forward to a bit of a holiday and some summer sunshine…er, okay then, maybe just a little bit less rain would be good?

Once again, “congratuwelldone” to

spiderweb_x for winning the fic challenge! As is BSH tradition, an appropriate winner’s banner will grace our user page to celebrate this achievement (mods…any volunteers to make this?).

Thank you also to

ailcia for prompting more fic challenge ideas. Please keep sending your suggestions to us! We will carefully gather them all up and store them lovingly in our BSH Filing Cabinet of Ghey for future challenges.

With the recent lay-out and rule tweakings, myself and

cailenbraern thought it might be a nice idea to get ourselves a new icon, too. The current icon has served us well and will be placed in the BSH Trophy Display of Ghey (next to the Filing Cabinet of Ghey) so that future generations of slashers can appreciate it.

So, Challenge #17 is: Create a New Icon for the Boosh Slash Haven.

The image should contain an image of Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt (as opposed to Howard Moon and Vince Noir). It should also contain the letters ’BSH’. Icons can be an ultra-slick or they can be a five minute MSPaint job (no pun intended). You can submit up to three entries (three icons).

Please do not submit any GIF (moving) icons.

Obviously, this is a slash community so how you interpret that is up to you. However, please *try* and keep it relatively clean. Slashy suggestion is more powerful than graphic detail. Basically nothing that will attract too much attention, know what I’m saying?

To clarify: post your icon entries to this comm as you would post a story. Head up your entry with 'Challenge #17 entry' so we know what it is.

The closing date for this challenge is Friday July 27th 2007 at...midnight. Voting will then last a week following that date. As per our fic challenges, entries will be put to a vote by the BSH community and the winning image will become the new BSH icon! Huzzah!

I’m aware that there are some very creative icon makers on this community, so I am really looking forward to seeing the results! Please leave any questions you may have about this challenge here and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
