Author’s Notes: Last week I had a bit of a creative crisis and so decided to write something completely new and vaguely wanky to get myself out of it. This fic is dedicated to Emmelie and Connie for helping me out of the aforementioned creative crisis and also for being genuinely lovely and fabulous people, as well as to Veronika who inspired the fic's concept. Two songs were used as the inspiration for this fic, Duke Special's 'Something Might Happen' and Arctic Monkeys' 'Love is a Laserquest.' Also contains my first attempt at a real sex scene, so I hope it isn't too abysmal!

It's been thirteen years since Stitch last saw Pete, and since then he has fallen into middle-age, becoming more anxious and introverted than ever before. A chance encounter in his record shop, however, sends the two halves of his life colliding together. Loving someone else isn't easy when you can't even get to sleep most nights.
