Wow, there are so many great fics its bloody hard to choose....
So im gonna go for the hot ones, which might be slightly predictable. These do happen to be very well written aswell though, especially Boots and Britches by isadorabelleb .....

God, picking another out was really hard but i've gone for one by two of my favourite writers on the haven, ExMaverick and Electro_girl. They write together so well, really enjoy their stuff :).

Because I've not posted here in ages and I'm all happy about people still loving Romeo + Julian and coming up to me and going, "Sticks?? Hey, you wrote that story!" and stuff. It happened yesterday when I went to see Mike Fielding DJing in London and I basically didn't know the person that spoke to me that well so it was even more special! :D [I'm famous! *shakes arse*]

This was done on the spur of the moment for someone on The Mighty Boosh forum, Sarah 'Noir Rock'. I also expreimented with some Noel/Dee [that won't be posted here, not the place, is it? haha] and found that it was okay but I missed slash terribly...

Well, enough from me...well, not really because I wrote this and stuff but...nevermind, here it is.

Title: Toilets are Fun!
Rating: PG-13 at most, it's quite tame
Summary: Noel is accused of loving Julian...he doesn't love Julian...but does he really not love Julian?
Length: almost 2000 words
Notes: un-betaed because it's pretty short and I wanted it up here NOW...but I did check it over again and go over mistakes, just tell me of anymore if need be, yeah? Oh yeah also first appearance of Chris Corner in any of my finished stories, so don't go stabbing in the face me if I got his character wrong!
Warnings: like..one swear.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything here...yes, not even the lovely Chris Corner :( But I may kidnap him when I see IAMX tonight.

P.S. Don't you dare compare this to Romeo + Julian, this was done in an hour, R+J took 3 months! :p

hello, hello. some of you might remember me as anatomiae (although i only ever posted here once, so. maybe not.)

happy birthday, bsh! here are my favourite fics:

first off, an o/t fic, i am the giraffe by maestro1123. this is a surrealisimo fic, which pretty much guaranteed that i was going to love it anyway because, as you might have noticed from my screen name, i am a total sucker for surrealism. but aside from my personal preferences, it's just a beautiful, poignant piece of writing. the characterisation is absolutely flawless, and the relationship between the two artists taut and believable. also, for someone who claims to know nothing about surrealism, she certainly hides it well.

next up, another o/t fic! this time, grazes by lo0o0ony_lauren. this is actually one of my favourite fics of all time. it's probably the only sneaker pimps slash out there (which is a travesty, in all honesty, and if i wasn't so lazy i'd do something about it), and it's heartbreaking and beautiful. the characterisation of chris is wonderful, and the interweaving of real events (the san diego incident, the song 'grazes') is juxtaposed wonderfully with ficticious events to support the story. has me in tears every time i read it.

and now, because i feel like i should include at least one non-o/t fic, i have never... by, again, maestro1123. it's sweet, funny, sexy and all-round a great feel-good fic. the sex is raw and realistic, and there are some genuinely hilarious parts (the implied bainbridge/fossil in particular).
