Fic Challenge #21 - 'TANGENTS'

Hey Dirty Jazzers, it's FIC CHALLENGE TIME AGAIN!

Never let it be said that BSH is not open to suggestions...or maybe that's just me, ahem. So, when we were approached by one of our members, who gesticulated something with a tube of lube and then offered to slip something large in our inbox, how could we resist?

The Fic Challenge theme this time is 'TANGENTS' and was suggested by themogwai. I know what you're thinking - don't think that. Once you've got your head around the concept, simply do the following:
"Start a story with a line (any line: speech, description, whatever you fancy); wind the story around many different by-ways and digressions and return to that line again."
Sounds good, doesn't it? Expand your imagination on this one. I'm intrigued to see what you come up with!

The CLOSING DATE for this challenge is Wednesday February 27th 2008, then we'll have a few days for voting, etc. as per usual.
