Title: Salvation Tambourine (part 1 of 5)
Fandom: Nathan Barley
Pairings: Dan/Jones and another less interesting surprise pairing
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2700
Disclaimer: Anything recognisable belongs to Messrs Barratt, Fielding and Dickens. The title is taken from a song of the same name by Duke Special. I own this pen.
Notes: It's Christmas, so here is a bit of Christmas fic for you. The other four parts will be up shortly. I really hope you enjoy it.
Summary: It's been seven years since Dan Ashcroft threw himself out of a window. Now the editor of a magazine he despises, and surrounded by people he loathes, Christmas is very much not his idea of a good time. But the reappearance of an old friend, coupled with a dose of guilt, a splash of pathos and some old-fashioned Dickensian magic, may well force him to change his mind.
Fic is at my journal here.
