Title: Enigma Variations, Coda, 9/9: curtains
Summary: A few things need to be sorted out
Rating: G
Warnings: sweeeeet fluffffinesss... a large bucket may be in order
Length: a tad over 1500 words
Spoilers: Bet you can guess which two words end this!
Disclaimer: These are not my characters. I know them so well, but still I don’t own them and they’re not making me any money, they’re just making me happy
Notes: And so at last we reach the end. But as we all know, it’s not really the end. I’ve just stopped writing at what is a promising new beginning for all four of them, and am going to leave them to have all sorts of fun times without me eavesdropping on them or pointing cameras at them or making them broken and unhappy just so that I can put them back together and make them smile again. Not in this particular timeline, anyway...
Huge thanks to everyone who has stuck with this story right from its beginnings, and everyone who has discovered it since. It’s been a big part of my life for the past two years and I’m really happy that so many other people have enjoyed something that I created purely for my own amusement!
You can find the whole Enigma Variations story on AO3 here and the coda will eventually join it. Meanwhile here are links to the rest of the previous bits of this coda since it's rather spread out: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Once again, thanks for reading.
