Well we've done it! We've broken the 500 mark! (Even though some members have deleted their lj. What? Shut up!) We now officially have so many members that they are no longer listed on the user info page, only a link saying 501 members!

Well, I don't know about you lot, but I think there's far more slashers out there, who haven't made it to our humble abode, so let's aim higher! Rope in your friends! Stick matchsticks in their eyes and force them to witness the slash (no, really don't! Or if you do, don't blame me cos I'll move to Yemen and deny all knowledge.)

Anyone stay up for the graveyard shift last night and witness the Charity!Boosh?

Yeah I noticed the top first and the boots second, those were some nice boots!

Well worth staying up for, I was starting to fear they'd been bumped in favour of showing the Peter Kaye thing again.

I stayed up and taped it, just in case I fell asleep... Noel's top was gorgeous -- as was Noel himself! I still love their Pies thing, s'genius. :D

I've only recently got into the Boosh thing, I hadn't seen you around at all. Friending okay?

Ooh, hello! I keep bumping into people I've known in other fandoms here, it's very cool. :D

It's because we're a) the best and b) the best. I love this fandom the most out of all of them I think, just because it's the least bitchy! Every OTP is everyone's OTP *g*

I saw it! I bullied my mother in staying awake and watching it, 'cause she's never seen The Boosh before and I keep telling her how awesome it is. The moment they came on my mother went, "ooh, the one on the left is cute!" I knew she'd be a right slut for Noel.

Yay, updated Twisty Song!

I was pleased to hear the Twisty song has developed, and I liked the Tommy stuff, but "pies"...they probably just needed something short to fill the time but I kind of wish they would pack it away for a little while.

Anyway, it was brilliant to see them on TV, so that should be celebrated! :)

Wait, where was that? I probably couldn't have seen anyway, you know, being in Canada and all. But I've never even heard of it. Is it on Youtube?

It's a UK thing (red nose day/comic relief) that happens every year to raise money for causes in Africa and the UK. It's basically a load of famous people/comedians performing/making a fool out of themselves live on TV for free to get the funds up.

I just looked on YouTube for you for the Boosh sketch but couldn't find anything :(

The Twisty song made me inordinately happy.

500 members?! Wow!

Thought they did well on Comic Relief. A few new bits for the fans and surreal and weird for the others. "..Don't forget to bring popcorn!"

Is it just me, or does Julian seem to becoming the 'straight man' of the partnership? Noel got a lot of the best funny lines in the new material on the Comic Relief slot, while Julian basicially stood around and said 'Charlie was a great man, Charlie had a dream' in about ten different variations.

Or is 'straight man' terrible wording for a slash comm?

The Twisty song was a wee moment of magic. As was when Julian stroked the painting of Charlie. ♥ And Noel all dressed up with coloured insulation tape. "I do look like him - a bit around the eyes, you have to admit."

I am doing so, trust me. But gently and slowly is the way to go... I'm converting new fans to Boosh, which is a delicate task, you get weird results when you just throw people into it, and then gently introducing them to the idea of the slash...
