Just found this on Wikipedia:

Erotomania is a rare disorder in which a person holds a delusional belief that another person, usually of a higher social status, is in love with them.

In the episode The Legend of old Gregg Of British comedy show The Mighty Boosh the character Old Gregg appears to be delusional about the nature of his relationship with Howard, asking on numerous occasions "do you love me?" and later actually tells Howard that that he is in love with him. 

So that's what it's called. It's nice to be well informed, isn't it?  :)

I LOVE erotomania! I have a stalker fetish (I'm not a stalker myself) and erotomania is right up my alley(riiiiightup it). That's why I love The Legend of Old Gregg and fics that make him out to be more possesive and violent than he was in the show.

I've written a few poems and stories with erotomania as my theme. *sigh* Delusional, possessive, stalker love. Oh, that'd make a good colour bar- Old Gregg is delusional, possesive, stalker love!
