Notes: It's my first time posting my poetry here and frankly I'm not even sure it belongs here but maybe we can make poetry a ~new~ medium. Could be considered drabble I suppose.

Ran through the rain, shoes splattering puddles up their calves
Dirty London water speckled on their trousers,
He reached his jacket over his head, calling back to his friend

Who was lagging behind, watching the exposed stretch of skin
Where the shirt rides up,
The small swells of his hips.

They reach their destination, and he tries to ignore
The growing feeling in his stomach,
The feeling of wanting more.

Mmmm, poetry, I like it! If I were in this situation I'd be doing the same as Howard, it's a beautiful image you've conjured up here, just a tiny moment but a very significant one.

Maybe we can make poetry a thing on here. Why not?

Welcome! You do know that now you've come in, you can never leave, right?

The lj cut should show up as a button on the visual editor screen toolbar, you just highlight the text you want to put under the cut and click the button, then it prompts you to change the 'Read more...' text if you want to.

Or you can just code it in the html. I think (this is going back a long way to the days when lj didn't work very well) it's [lj-cut] at the beginning and [lj-cut] at the end but with angle brackets '<>' instead of the square ones.

Is your tumblr name the same? I'm nemeton over there, will follow you back if I'm not following you already :)

Managed to figure it out. Thank you! I'm ollystarlings on tumblr. I've been a member of the bsh for a while but just recently decided to post my stuff here. I write too much poetry about these fools.
