Summary: "Something we tried to keep secret from the word, for his sake and mine. Because somtimes, your darkest thoughts aren't the rest of the world's business. He only lets me help him, when he gets like this." Howard-Centric angst, basically. In Vince's POV.
Word Count: This part's 3, 486 but they decrease in word count.
Rating: Probably about a PG+13 for this chapter, just because it's pretty dark.
Warnings: Suicide Attempt at the end of chapter.

Author’s Notes: Alright, I've been posting this on ff.net for a while, but I decided to post it here and see what you guys thought of it. This is part one of many (so far, seven). Anyway, it struck me that Howard constantly claims that he's the depressed one, yet we've never seen him with any real depressive behaviour. So I tried to write a one-shot that depicited Howard's secret depression, but it spanned way way WAY out of controll.
