Shame - Choose-your-own-adventure

This fic is a little different because it is a Choose-your-own-adventure. That means you (yes you) get to choose what happens next. At the end of this fic there are three options, each affecting the story differently. All you have to do is read and post your choice as a comment. (You have the power)

Voting (for what happens next) is open for a week. I'll count the votes next Sunday, 13th May. The choice with the most votes is the one I'll write about and the next fic will have more choices to delight and excite you.



Title: Shame
Characters: Noel with a very brief apparence from Julian.
Summary:  Noel is at a party, but why is he not enjoying it?

Dimly light rooms full of presumably important but nonetheless unrecognisable people. Empty bottles abandoned on tables and stairs, in pot plants or under chairs. Intoxicated people writhing around to loud, nondescript remixes blaring through hidden speakers. Those not dancing wage an ongoing battle against the noise, shouting to make themselves heard and in doing so becoming less and less coherent. The host is a mystery. This is a house party.

 

Noel drifted and pushed his way through the crowd of nameless people feeling unpleasantly removed from everyone. Usually he commanded most people’s attention at parties like this, but his heart wasn’t in it tonight. He had considered staying in but he reasoned that being around people would take his mind off things.

 

His mind was betraying him, conjuring up images of yesterday’s occurrence and parading them around his head. Reminding him every so often of the complete twat he had made of himself. Noel hadn’t slept well last night. He was either lying awake replaying what had happened or dreaming of it.

The filming of the third season was going brilliantly and both Noel and Julian were extremely happy with it. They had been hinting and teasing their fans with promises of a slashy scene and were scheduled to film it that day. Noel was rather nervous but Julian remained calm and complacent.

 

The make-up and hair was done, as were the last minute changes to the script and the shot was set up. Julian (although Noel preferred to think if him as Howard) leaned in for the all important kiss and Noel’s (although he preferred to think of it as Vince’s) heart raced. Their lips touched and he felt tingles race down his spine. His nervousness subsided slowly and after a few takes he was completely relaxed.

 

On the fifth take, after much encouragement and pressure from Paul King, Noel finally kissed back. At first he took Julian by surprise but soon they were kissing passionately. Julian’s body rubbed up against Noel’s. Noel ran his hands down Julian’s back while Julian cupped Noel’s face in his hands.

 

Paul yelled cut and Julian’s lips were gone, leaving Noel feeling suddenly cold and lost. Julian stood up and wiped his mouth, then walked off the set. Noel remained in somewhat of a daze.

 

Noel was shaken from his short reverie by a well practised throat clearer. He looked around and found the entire crew as well as some of the cast staring intently at him. He frowned and as his mind cleared he realised what they were staring at. Following their gaze he looked down at his erection.

Even now he felt humiliated and an unfamiliar blush was working its way across his pale cheeks. Noel was feeling strangely warm and the throng of anonymous, faceless beings was pressing in on him. His chest felt tight and his heart was beating quickly. Panic gripped him by the throat and squeezed, his mind raced with thoughts of shame and dread. He needed to get away.

 

Should Noel:

 

A: Go out onto the balcony

 

B: Find something to drink

 

C: Find a bathroom to pull himself together in
