EXPLANATION: Our Wacky Roommate is a pretend universe based off of a trippy dream by theanswer42. It is meant in a loving yet completely silly, not-to-be-taken-seriously way. For more information, go here.

Title: New Year’s Eve (OT, I suppose, due to created universe)

Pairing or Characters: OWR!Julian/OWR!Noel, and loads of others. Listing is too long.
Summary: After an unsuccessful New Year's Eve party, Julian and Noel ring in the New Year alone.
Word Count: ~2350
Rating: Erm, somewhere between PG-13 and R. Nothing too bad, but don't want to offend anyone. Who am I kidding, of course I do!
Warnings: Self-parodising-insertia.

But if you know no-one from here enjoys it then why post it, that's the point I'm making, and the point that you pretty much made in that post.

And FYI, I don't actively read your comm, I clicked into it to see if anyone from here actually commented any of the fics.

I'm not saying it's bad, I just think it's one big in-joke that you can't possibly expect people who don't know you to understand, so it's kind of pointless sharing it. Especially with the reaction it got last time.

Actually, we got a new reader from last time, and I'm not talking of the woman who showed up and argued with us. The only people I know don't enjoy it are the few who post here whenever I post one of these who are obviously not the entire community.
I'm sorry about the 'comm' comment from last time, that was sarcastic of me.
And first thing, there are actually a few people reading and enjoying it that I don't know, so apparently it CAN be done. The only reason any of the self-inserts happened was because of Paisley's dream. Mostly, the jokes in it are relevant to anyone who watches the shows these people are in.
And I shan't post one of these here again. I thought this one was more applicable, due to three quarters of it being only Julian and Noel but it appears I was mistaken. You're right in at least the fact that every time I post one of these here it annoys me so I agree, why keep posting them. I'll come back another time if I have non-OWR stuff.

And we did post the link to the comm a while back. Only I'm not allowed to post things that aren't slash on BSH, thus, the "Slash". Otherwise, I would.
After about 40 words, the slash that's only Julian and Noel actually begins, so perhaps you missed out.

Hmppfft. Well, I for one am glad you posted at least ONE of the links here [This Takes The Cake- I started reading and was like "WTF. WTF IS GOING ON?" but rather than being a pissmeister about it I started reading the whole thing and now LOVE IT.]
Doesn't matter that I don't personally know any of you guys, and there are probably bits in there that I think are just random but may have happened to you FUH REALZ in some less-exaggerated shape or form and that I am totally missing out on the point of. Doesn't matter because the Crackiness, the adventure, the RICHARDAYOADE, and the actual quality of writing* are all awesome and still make it readable for an outsider.
Plus I LOVE all the little cameos like Nathan Fillion and Dylan Moran. I have a great desire to be Bernard Black when I grow up. Which has nothing to do with any of this, hi! :D

I wouldn't say "lame" necessarily.
And this one? I don't think it's an in joke either.
Especially as I linked to a post explaining the idea behind the stories.
But it might be an in-joke if you've never watched Peep Show.
