Length: about 2700 words – blimey, where did all that come from? And it’s not as though anything has really happened yet

Notes: First of all, huge apologies for being so slow to write and post. Second of all, huge apologies for the lack of (a) plot advancement and (b) smut, although I may well write a spin-off for my own pleasure at some point. Third of all, apologies to the spirit of Douglas Adams, but that first line just popped into my head and I couldn’t un-think it.
